"These boots are a real game changer for me. I have had trouble with my ankle for some time and need additional ankle support which these deliver in spades. The rolling effect when walking is also terrific for my feet and ankles. Best purchase ever!"
"One of the few hiking boots out there that are sufficiently wide in the toe. Seem to be waterproof and better-made than the Targhee 3 (which fell to bits after a year of light use). However, the 3's were considerably more comfortable underfoot and putting better insoles in the 4's makes them too tight."

If not for the improved sole on this model and the Labor Day sale price I would have tried another brand simply because of the lack of quality sole on the first pair. "Out of the box comfortable! (like my other Keens). Lots of toe room; true to size. So far, I�ve just worn these boots around my Florida beach cottage a couple of times. 😂 Any break in time unlikely. The real test will be next month when I start to hiking in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina. I surrendered my decade old Vasque Gore Tex boots for these kicks. Let�s GO!"
