"My old Newport leather Bisson sandals had a hard life over the years of constant use through many countries, however, it’s time to retire them. They were so comfy and durable that for me there was no question about switching styles or brands. Biggest plus for me was comfort and performance. The only negative is occasionally getting pebbles flick up and getting rid of them means taking the sandal off. Comes with having an enclosed toe and protection. Hoping for another few years of use from my new ones."

The most crucial part of the shoe defective.

"*READ THIS* I really wanted to give this sandal a 5 star review, but the one thing that you should be able to trust in a shoe and especially a sandal like these, broke after a few weeks of use. The one part of the shoe you'd expect to have durability at the forefront of its design fell through like it wasn't a premium product. It made me wonder if this was a premium product at all?"

"They are great but even better if you wear water proof socks with them the socks absorb small stones or grit and you can keep going good grip also mud can be slippery but the socks stop your feet sliding inside the sandle"
