Finally a boot that is easy to get on!

"Finally a boot that I can get into and out of with difficulty. Having 3 sets of lace hooks is a game changer for me. Haven't had much chance to walk a lot in these, but so far they are extremely comfortable and the size fits just like my other Keens (except for the Flex model). As these are a leather upper I treated them with a boot wax (leather is not really waterproof without doing so). I expect the durability of these to be poor like every other Keen boot I've ever purchased (FYI the extreme comfort and roomy toe box is what I keep buying Keen boots for - I just wish they would last longer)."

Excellent boots. Just replaced same

"Excellent boots. Just replaced same boots again as the last ones lasted 15 years & still had a bit of wear left in old ones yet. Were well looked after with regular leather care. Will always buy full leather boots over gortex everytime. Fully waterproof."

Tough shoes

"I used to wear targhee hikers but didnt last. Soles fell apart. These have been a really good shoe. Last much better and stay waterproof. Others didnt. These had a roomy toe box for i have wide toes but not ankles. Been really comfortable. I do morning walks in them on gravel roads. Then wear them rest of day for working in."

Comfortable right out of the box!

"These Keen Pyrenees are my first pair of Keen boots. I bought them because of the good reviews. I almost always have a problem with my right foot being cramped in the toe box. I figured I'd try these because of the roomy toe box as many reviewers have claimed. I am so glad I did because these boots are super comfortable and my toes aren't cramped at all. That's unusual for me. My normal size is 13 and these boots fit true to size. They are lightweight and feel great right out of the box. No break in seems necessary. I bought the gray Pyraneese boots and all I can say is that I wish I had found this brand years ago. The insoles and the soles themselves provide for a very comfortable, shock absorbing hike. The sole lugs are very aggressive and should get me through any type of terrain. I will definitely be ordering more of these Keen boots, and I'm going to start right now with a pair of the insulated boots for the upcoming NY winter. I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone looking for a lightweight hiking boot that is comfortable, waterproof and has an aggressive sole ready to conquer any hiking situation!"
