"I was nervous about buying online, but they are true to size and super comfy -first time all-day walk with no rubbing!"

How I love these boots

"How I love these boots just put them on go. They are so comfortable."

"After breaking them in with a few treks, I’ve been using them for about three months. Once they conformed to my feet, they provide solid support and so far I feel confident wearing them."

Heel lock Hurts my ankle

"I bought these because I could not find the model I'd bought previously. Though the soles of that pair delaminated after a couple of years, I loved them because they never gave me blisters, they were waterproof and I could cycle as well as walk in them I just glued the soles back on with some success. But I wanted a new pair for a 100km walk I was planning. When they arrived I was concerned because I could not get my feet into them, though I was certain I had the correct size. I had to wear my thinnest socks, use a shoe horn and put my full weight stomping on 1 foot to get my heel in. After wearing them on a few longish walks (10 - 18 km) they are only slightly looser, so I can wear a slightly thicker sock, and don't always need a shoe horn, but I'm reluctant to wear them on a walk where I have to take them off to wade through water in case I can't get them on again. The worst thing is, after an hour or so of walking in these shoes, I now start to get an intense pain just below the ankle bone on the outside of my left leg. So bad it makes me limp. Altering the laces does not help. I never have this problem with any other shoes, or when going barefoot. I suspect it may relate to a stiff shank I can feel inside the heel. I feel the same in the heel of the right shoe, but it has not affected my right leg. The only external factor I can think of is that, when walking on the road, I tend to walk on the right hand side - to face oncoming traffic in NZ - and the camber on the road means my left leg is often slightly higher than my right leg, or my left foot is slightly angled. I'm seriously considering cutting through the heel lock or slashing the inside heel to see if I can get that shank out. Really disappointed because I loved my other Keens."

What changed?

"These boots were stiffer than any other keens I've ever had. They're still stiff after a backpacking trip but that's not the biggest problem. The insoles are terrible. No arch support and oddly concave. I got huge blisters. I've had keens for over 10 years and they've been great! Something has changed. I'm ordering different insoles hoping that will save them. I might need to switch brands which makes me really sad."

Circadia boots

"They're still pretty stiff so getting them on & off is still difficult. But I can get my thick socks in them without causing my toes to go numb, making them warmer. Love that they're really waterproof!"

Cant even get foot into the boot

"The tongue of the boot is showed completely shut which leaves such a small opening for your foot. I cant even get my foot all the way into the boot. I do have a high instep, but I dont know how anyone would be able to get their foot into this boot. So disappointed and obviously will be returning them."

Not a Good Design Change

"Ive worn a pair of womens Targhee waterproof, insulated boots for five years, but apparently Keen no longer makes them for women, so I tried these Circadias. Its well-made, but the tongue design is far too narrow and I found it nearly impossible to squeeze into these boots. Im very disappointed that Keen has messed with a perfect design. Ill have to try another brand."
