"I use these for farm work in the summer when i don't want to wear work boots. Great to have the toe protection but otherwise feel as close to bare foot as possible. And great that they ar waterproof and dry out so well. Very happy:)"

"I am a deveote Keen user and usually find them the most comfortable and durable sandals for walking. I currently have a pair of whispers in size 8 so ordered the same size in Newport. They are much more rigid and slightly narrower, and the back strap is not flexible- so I should have gone up 1/2 a size. They will definely take a lot of wearing in before they are comfortable. Prefer the whisper. These will be very solid though. Take away - try them on!"
"The sandal is not as comfortable as the existing reviews suggest on Keen Website - reviews elsewhere are more accurate descriptions. The tight, rigid straps over foot bridge make it very difficult to get on, and together with the too tight, non-adjustable heel strap was nearly impossible at first. I had to wear thick hiking socks for few days inside home without heel straps on, and slightly forcing my feet inside, give my feet a break, and do it again. Graduated to pulling up the super tight heel strap, still with thick socks for few more days. Then with normal thickness socks for short trips. Now that the sandal has ‘bedded in’ it is more wearable with a lovely roomy toe box, can wear it on reasonable walks and without socks. The template for the sandal definitely needs adjusting. Above are reasons for low rating of otherwise well constructed sandal."
